The Story Unfolds...
WELCOME to the Throne of Winter Sky! Here you and all visitors will be hosted for the Festival of the Silver Kingdom. This is a grand competition where Champions from the four mighty Thrones of our lands - Fierce Winter Sky, Playful Spring Rain, Wise Summer Thunder, and Mysterious Autumn Stars - gather in…friendly…rivalry for the most wondrous prize in the world: a silver chalice which offers the winner a year of bountiful riches and sustenance. The Throne which holds this magical item will have no need to fear hunger or thirst for its people while it resides in their realm. As has been the tradition for generations untold, the contest for the Silver Cup will held in the homelands of the previous year’s victor. As the Champion of Winter, Rhiannon Hammerfeld, bested Spring Throne's Prince Varden in last year's competition, we will be traveling to the wild Northern lands of the Winter Throne for this year's festivities. One can only imagine what awaits the intrepid person who braves such a journey!

Choose a Throne to cheer on through the competitions and even grab a sword, if you so desire, to help defend the faire against attack. Join us and perhaps you too will discover your own destiny in these lands of fantasy!
The Realm of Seasons
The Throne of Spring Rain
SpringThe people of Spring protect the lands, animals, and all bodies of water. Believing that waste is a lesser form of destruction, they use all of what they take. They pay homage to the Fey and Mythical spirits they believe inhabit the Forests of the land. It is Spring’s belief that they are always being watched and judged by these unseeing eyes. Because of this, they believe their actions must always be thought out thoroughly. Warfare and violence without council and guidance are thought to bring ill omen and dark days. These people are tied to the land like no other. It is from this that they draw their style of clothing, usually in browns and tribal dress.

The Throne of Summer Thunder
Summer

Those of the Throne of Summer Thunder are desert-dwelling masters of civilization. Due to the large tracts of inhospitable terrain, most citizens have flocked together in massive numbers to form the four great cities. Summer folk are masters of both magic and knowledge, and their clockwork inventions used to be the wonder of the Realm of Seasons. Storms of uncontrolled magic rage in portions of this Throne’s lands. This, however, imparts no distress amongst the people, as they believe they possess magic that can hold back the tide of nature gone awry.

The Throne of Autumn Stars
Autumn

The people of the Throne of Autumn Stars are from a culture that is a dark mirror of medieval Western Europe. Their feudal world has all the ranks of knights, barons and peasantry, along with bands of traveling gypsies. Unfortunately, ancient spirits of evil haunt this gothic medieval world.

The people have a fondness for black leather and satin brocades. Their ancient gifts of prophetic dreams give them insights into the world.

The Throne of Winter Sky
Winter

The Viking-like people of the Throne of Winter Sky are generally warlike and combat-oriented. They favor tests of strength and mettle over tests of intellect and riddling. While they delight in drinking, laughter, and dancing, they savor fighting more. Skirmishes among the different forts are not uncommon, as are celebrations in which all of the forts come together to enjoy each other's company with sagas and song. These are a defiant people who are unyielding in battle. Although they are bold and unafraid of making mistakes in this world, the people of Winter willingly accept responsibility for their actions and will generally try to correct their errors.

The 2009 Champions of the Four Thrones
The Champion of Spring
VardenPrince Varden of the Shimmering Waves: The perrenial favorite, Prince Varden will continue his travels to the cold Northern lands of Winter in an attempt to reclaim the Silver Cup from Champion Rhiannon Hammerfeld. His defeat by the warrioress was whispered to have been occasioned by the dual distractions of Eclipse agents in his homeland and the suspicious behavior of his erstwhile betrothed, the Princess Celine. Unmasking her treachery and ousting the invadors were painful tasks, and one hopes that the Throne of Spring has recovered from its woes well enough to put forth a strong representation in the coming competitions.

Safir Haddad Emir Ata Bashar, Champion of the Throne of Summer Thunder: Safir is a friendly and charming individual. It is clear that once again the Throne of Summer Thunder has selected a champion who is both a warrior and a diplomat. Once again, the Summer Throne champion has dazzled all who have met him.
The Champion of Autumn
Autumn

Samuel of the Undying, Champion of the Throne of Autumn Stars: Samuel is a member of the Order of the Undying and wears a mask that symbolizes his membership in that order. The order is well-known for their ruthlessness and is feared by many. It has been suggested that sending one of the Undying as champion suggests much about the rulers of the Autumn throne and their thoughts on the war being fought on the island of the Eclipse.

Rhiannon Hammerfeld, Champion of the Throne of Winter Sky: Like all the previous Winter champions, Rhiannon fought many warriors to gain her place as this year's champion. She is fierce, determined and brutally honest. She is not one to mince words with anyone.After emerging victorious from last year's competition, she will now be expected to defend her Throne's greatest possession from Spring, Summer, and Autumn's finest battlemasters.
